St. Joseph Catholic School PTF (Parents, Teachers, and Friends) organization meets monthly during the school year to discuss and plan school events. PTF hosts many fundraising events for our school, including the Hole-y Hawks Mini-Golf Tournament, Family Dining Out events, and the RaiseRight program. In turn, the PTF uses these proceeds to make donations to the school and support a wide range of programs and events for students and families, including fully covering the costs of students' field trips throughout the year.
PTF is more than just a fundraising group for school functions. We plan social events for our students and school community, such as the Back to School Pool Party, Grandparents and Special Friends Day, an All-School Halloween Party, a Thanksgiving Feast, Family Fun Nights, Student Appreciation Day, and Field Day. It's also a great place to meet other school families and get involved with events that build community.
As a way to give back to our families, for every PTF meeting you attend AND for every PTF event you volunteer to help with, you will receive one entry into the PTF Tuition Raffle. There will be two $250 drawings for the 2025-26 school year, at our PTF meetings in December and May.

PTF Meetings
Our next PTF meeting of the 2026-27 school year will take place on Tuesday, November 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Center.
Typically, our PTF meetings will take place the second Tuesday of the month, though we sometimes adjust to avoid conflicts with school events (as is the case with our September meeting). Stay tuned for updates!
Anyone in our school community is encouraged to attend PTF meetings! Meeting attendance earns you: 1 volunteer hour toward the family requirement.
Upcoming Events
Trunk or Treat will take place from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24, on the school grounds. This FREE event is open to the entire community! We are currently looking for families and organizations to host a trunk; if you're interested, contact the school office. Hosting a trunk is a fun way to earn parent volunteer hours!
We are currently look for 2-3 more hole hosts for Holey Hawks Mini Golf on Saturday, November 7. Hosting is fun, and involves constructing a mini golf hole and hosting golfers the day of. This is a fun family-friendly day—you'll visit 9 holes in and around Freeburg, and enjoy raffles and snacks on the course before meeting up at Catholic War Veterans. The cost is $20 per adult and $10 per child (anyone PreK-high school), or $60 for immediate family; all proceeds benefit the St. Joseph PTF. Register here.
